Purpose of the association (art. 2 of the Bylaws)
The Association aims to act through journalism to address social challenges from a social innovation perspective. The purpose of the association is to create spaces for information and outreach, in the broadest sense, and to disseminate ideas and initiatives with a positive social impact, in order to promote — through greater awareness among both decision-makers and citizens — a heightened understanding of a given issue and its possible solutions.
Its fields of action concern social issues in general which, by way of example and without limitation, may range from labour market conditions for younger generations to the involuntary decline in birth rates. To achieve this goal, the association develops, in particular in Switzerland and Europe (by way of example, and without limitation):
-
websites and podcasts that it manages directly
-
content for other media outlets
-
relationships and shared activities with other social actors (other associations, universities, media, businesses, etc.)
-
public events
-
initiatives, projects and services to increase engagement and visibility on its core issues among specific segments (e.g. businesses, associations, political actors, etc.)
-
research, studies and surveys, including in collaboration with other bodies and institutions
-
policy proposals to improve the regulatory and legal framework in its areas of competence
